Program Manager - Accounting Tax & Practice Product Management

About the RoleIn this opportunity as Program Manager, you will:*Partner with product, engineering, and UX leaders supporting the Accounting Tax and Practice portfolio to create detailed plans and manage the achievement of project goals against success metrics for key deliverables.*Partner with product, engineering, and UX leaders to develop clear and consistent plans to accelerate improvements to our current and future state flagship products.*Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to align project deliverables with business goals and expectations.*Manage timelines, resources, and costs and create actionable plans when projects deviate from agreed tolerances.*Defines and programs governance to ensure there is sufficient executive support and guidance.*Provides thought leadership on all aspects of the program in order to ensure successful delivery. Establishes the appropriate tools and processes to meet project goals. Influences program sponsors to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the program.*Maintains effective control, leadership, and responsibility for the delivery of all workstreams in the program - including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business value.*Develops and leads the process of dealing with rapid major change. Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify key stakeholders so that plans can be amended and the necessary action taken.*Defines, communicates, and champions a method of working to manage the strategy.*Influence the success of program strategy and alignment with company objectives by assessing needs, defining scope, prioritizing demand and resourcing, performing risk management, and maintaining roadmaps for program-aligned projects.*Drive cross-functional teams and individual responsibilities while providing project leadership, work direction, and feedback to the teams.*Influence the work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met and drive transparent communications on status with key stakeholders across the business.*Manage concurrent projects of significant scope and impact with various stakeholders and project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all initiatives.*Identify, assess, and effectively mitigate risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams.*Manage and report on the delivery of roadmap commitments across product lines including active participation in high-level estimating, scoping, and planning.*Partner with Finance and Product leaders on driving monthly financial reconciliation within the portfolio and participate in annual financial planning exercises.*Introduce industry best practices to streamline project management processes and coach others on project management skills and methodologies to mature these capabilities for the organization.*Implement effective communication plans and operating rhythms, helping teams to develop metrics that drive continuous improvement.*Adopt and drive innovative and automated solutions for reporting, recurring planning, and activity management.*Provide feedback on an ongoing basis to improve processes, methodologies, and standards
