The Boeing Company is seeking a Program Management Specialist (Senior or Principal) to be based out of Huntsville AL. This position will require 25% travel.

The Position:
As a Senior or Principal Program Management Specialist, you will be a part of an amazing and collaborative team working to ensure the continued progress and success of our PAC-3 development initiatives. A successful candidate in this position has experience managing large multi-function engineering development teams with significant support from partners and subcontractors. You are self-motivated, passionate, and driven to successfully meet technical, schedule, and cost goals while overcoming risks. You will work closely with our Engineering Organizations and Functional Organizations to manage team execution to meet the PAC-3 business goals and objectives.
Position Responsibilities (may include):
Provides leadership, oversight and management of PAC-3 development program execution
Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction
Supports program execution by coordinating program metrics
Communicates technical and program level accomplishments, issues and program status to internal and customer executive leadership
Identifies and facilitates key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
Develops proposals to support company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers and programs
Identifies and helps manage all aspects of supplier statement of work, RAA, contractual commitments and performance to support company procurement strategies and contractual compliance and establishes operating plan
Works closely with Supplier Management on complex technical, business, product delivery, and quality aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships and performance
Uncovers and resolves issues associated with the development program execution
Leads the development of program recovery acceleration plans, changes and corrective actions
Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
Coordinates IRAD activities to support production and development initiatives
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance). An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor degree or higher.
14+ years of experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or Program Management.
Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience developing complex RF seekers and/or electronic systems.
Experience in managing multi-functional engineering teams.
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience on an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Typical Education/Experience
Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
Principal : Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience, 24 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Senior: $136,850 – $185,150
Summary pay range for Principal: $157,250 – $212,750
