Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator - Office of Medical Education - NYU Long Island School of Medicine - Mineola. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for supporting academic policy matters within the Office of Medical Education, Registration and Student Records. Coordinates tasks and related activities to program management. Provides administrative support; assists in special event planning and coordination of the learning management and student information systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Other related and cross functional duties as assigned.Provides a full range of varied and multi-skilled administrative and clerical support to help smooth the operation of the Medical Education Programs. Responsibilities will be shared across the team and include organization of program based activities and assisting with projects. Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external constituents.Assists with the course catalog, student enrollment records, creating and distributing of class lists, tracking grade reporting. Resolve grading conflicts, monitor incomplete and missing grades and communicate with faculty, responsible for ensuring updates are done for all course information and course descriptions. Complies statistical information and prepares reports. Coordinates curriculums scheduling and manages lotteries.Reviews visiting student applications for both academic and other administrative requirements; interfaces with academic and administrative offices to schedule and register visiting students for electives.Assists with tracking and processing payments for invoices and reimbursements including program faculty and staff travel and dues; Orders supplies as needed for Programs. Prepares, tracks and updates affiliation agreements.Orders food for morning and noon conferences and other meetings throughout the year and provides assistance to Senior Program Coordinators as needed. Serves as a proctor during exam testing.Supports orientation for new students, facilitates obtaining ID badges, parking forms, medical clearances, criminal background checks, compliance modules, etc. Assists in managing online course/program information in the learning management and student information systems.Maintains program calendars, including scheduling administrative/faculty meetings, classroom sessions, and other educational events. Makes arrangements for educational sessions, as needed, for space, catering, audio-visual needs, and session hand-outs/props. Communicates with attendees regarding various aspects of the program, such as session information, assignments, program requirements, etc.Support for special and annual program events planning and execution. Makes arrangements, as needed, for space, catering, audio-visual needs, and session hand-outs/props, invitations and RSVPs. Communicates with attendees before and after sessions. Assists with travel planning and reservations, as needed.Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's Degree in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 1-3 Years progressively responsible experience in education or healthcare, quality improvement, preferably in the academic setting. Self-motivation and the possession of strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken). Knowledge of student information systems and strong computer skills. Strong listening, organizational and communication (both written and oral) skills. Ability to follow institutional policies at all times and actively engage in continuous quality improvement of all systems.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,500.00 - $72,080.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
