Job Summary:
Program Coordinator performs administrative functions for Co-payment Programs. Responsibilities include activities such as Patients’ interaction, generating reports, maintaining business information, drafting correspondence, and processing co-pay requests. The Program Coordinator shall ensure prompt delivery of co-payment services and will act as Single Point of Contact for the Patient and relevant Program Stakeholders. In addition to this, Program Coordinator prepares, coordinates, implements, oversees monitors and maintains services agreements with Hospitals and sets up and maintains account control
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for processing copayment requests of Patients for programs offering copay assistance payments.
• Builds a network of Hospitals and other relevant Accounts (as applicable) through Agreements.
• Interacts frequently with all Stakeholders and intra/inter-departmental associates and management for the purpose of resolving operations/payment issues.
• Interacts with Patients and accurately captures, updates and maintains business and Patient information details via hard and soft copies.
• Compiles information from various sources and utilizes the information for uses such as generating monthly reports and program reconciliation.
• Liaises with Partially dedicated Program Manager to ensure copayment KPIs are met.
• Liaises with Partially dedicated Program Manager and relevant stakeholders to ensure proper payment timeframes and accurate payments.
• Manages and reports any potential adverse events, product quality issues or other perceived safety risks according to defined program procedures.
• Refers specific medical queries or issues to other healthcare professionals in accordance with local guidelines or company protocols where appropriate.
• Communicates with and develop relationships with HCPs, Hospitals/Relevant Accounts and relevant medical Staff where the Program is adopted.
• Performs general administrative tasks such as but not limited to handling the mail, typing, documents collection, filing.
• Maintains and promotes positive and professional working relationships with Client, Patients, associates and Management.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
• Performs related duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing or Paramedical with 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative job within the healthcare field, preferably in Patient Support Programs’.
• Excellent verbal and written English Communication Skills
• Strong Computer and MS Excel literacy and ability to learn new programs / systems quickly
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Satisfactory completion of pre‐employment medical and background checks
• Must successfully complete the defined trainings and demonstrate competence
• Able to accommodate flexible work hours
• Must comply with the relevant regulatory guidelines, program SOPs and service levels as defined in the program operational agreement.
