Infosys is seeking Production Support with Java and UNIX / SQL with debugging skills. This Candidate's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team.
Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. At least 3 years of experience in Production Support with Java and UNIX /SQL with excellent debugging skills. Knowledge on ITIL processes - Incident Management & Problem Management. Experience in either UNIX or SQL . Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues. Experience in User Ticket management (Backlog review, User interface and manual prioritization) Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Sybase/DB2/RDBMS . Experience with job scheduler (Ex. Autosys), Ticketing tool/JIRA. Experience with Gitlab and one IDE is a plus.
