Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
About the position:
RESPONSIBILITIES :
EH&S
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate clothing for your work area (hair net, gowning, etc.).
Participate in safety meetings as requested.
Follow the security guidelines established in the company's procedures and/or policies.
Quality
Adhere 100% to the work instructions established in the procedures of the working – KPI.
Be trained in the tasks performed.
Inspect, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms 100% to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Notify Quality Control to inspect/audit and provide samples per AQL sampling frequency.
Production
Support the Production Leader in the correct line balance, WIP, priorities and hour-hour compliance of the production line.
Support the Production Leader in implementing techniques or activities that create a good work environment (Great Place to Work).
Coordinate with Core Team helps to meet internal and external goals.
Collaborate in the communication and actions generated in daily tiers.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Facilities or Brigade any needs or emergencies, including evacuations.
Generate a balance in operational rotation (ergonomic needs and output).
Collaborate to form Trainers/Certifiers in their work shift.
Ensure that Production Operators enhance their knowledge through internal certifications.
Cut the coils and assemble sub-assemblies per customer specifications.
Set up the laser welders and/or equipment per set-up procedures to adjust if required.
Clean, prepare and pack the assembled parts, per the work area specifications.
Read, verify and complete the job travelers.
Communicate the change of shift with notes to clarify the processes, expectations, concerns or problems that arise for the personnel of the next shift.
REQUIREMENTS :
o Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related career that qualifies you for the position. If you do not already have the degree, at least 6 months of experience as an intern in similar positions.
o Must have at least 3 years of experience in a production environment.

o Availability to work at b shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
