Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Production Scheduler to control, plan and release the workflow through the Distribution Center in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include running and reviewing shipment-planning runs to balance workloads; creating, releasing and sorting waves through shift to ensure balanced workloads in all areas; communicating wave creation status to various departments via wave sheets and radio; communicating with appropriate departments to determine work needs; reviewing current workloads and comparing against capacity to determine work schedule adjustments; reviewing and managing Late Order Report in accordance with established guidelines; becoming an expert in the functions of the WBS and CORE systems for scheduling; providing training to other partners, both within and outside the Distribution Center in both Scheduling and DC functions; performing troubleshooting; running and reviewing all necessary queries throughout the day; working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with ability to work overtime during the week and on weekends as business needs require; performing additional duties assigned including using skills and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks in support of the total division.
