  Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Production Operations Specialist – Airplane Assist to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift .

  Position Responsibilities:

  Develops and implements manufacturing processes.

  Provides concurrent engineering support.

  Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.

  Reviews and approves technical documents.

  Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.

  Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.

  Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.

  Serves as primary interface with internal customers.

  Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.

  Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  1+ years of aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.

  1+ years of experience in a team environment.

  Must be willing to work 2nd shift.

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  787 Program Experience.

  Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

  Typical Education/Experience:

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Shift:

  This position is for 2nd shift.

  The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: $59,220 - $60,480

  Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: If the successful candidate is not a “U.S. Person“ (as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) and the position requires access to export-controlled data, an appropriate export authorization by the U.S. Government may be required prior to such access. Employment, and the continuity of employment of non-U.S. persons, is contingent upon the company’s ability to secure and maintain the necessary export control authorization.
