Your New Role
We are looking for a Production Executive to join our team to oversee all assigned productions, ensuring that all programmes deliver maximum value on screen.
This role could be based in either Bristol or London, and it will help maximise profitability and efficiency across all areas of the company.
The successful candidate will assist the DoP in managing the company's operations, especially relating to the planning, budgeting, scheduling and setting up of paid and un-paid developments and commissions.
Role Accountabilities
Production
Overseeing the budgeting and scheduling of all assigned paid developments and productionsLine manager to assigned Production Managers, who report to the role on all production matters (including but not limited to finance, people, access, insurance, music)Set up and maintain regular production meetingsEnsuring on assigned productions that weekly cost reporting is provided for the management meetingWorking with assigned Production Managers on health and safety (including overseeing risk assessments) as well as insurance, both standard production insurance and bespoke cover where required.Working with the development team on paid and unpaid developmentsActing as a bridge between development and production, ensuring that productions, whether commissioned or not, transition smoothly from development into productionEnsuring that all key senior production hires are approvedWorking with the DoP and Business Affairs on contract negotiations with talent and third party suppliers, including but not limited to significant production deals (e.g. post-production, camera deals) and having these approved by the DoP.Negotiating and setting rates for freelance staffTo work on maximising commercial exploitation of IPWorking with the DoP and Production Accountant to ensure efficient and prompt cost reporting on paid development and productions

Attending the weekly management meetings and reporting on the assigned developments and productions at these meetings, both in terms of finances and also production overviewMonitoring company deals (e.g. car hire, couriers) and advising the DoP on improvements where available

Previous experience working in a similar role in unscripted TV productionStrong people management experience
