About the Role
This position is within the Production CAE department at Magna Exteriors Group Office. It will primarily involve working closely with production CAE analyst on the Troy and India teams. It will also involve crossover activities with the Product CAE department in support of our benchmarking initiatives. The student will learn the fundamentals of process simulation, attend customer reviews of analysis results with senior members of the team, familiarize themselves with Magna’s internal quality standards for simulation results and attend tool trials when possible in order to assist in validation exercises. These activities will culminate with an executive presentation at the end of the summer.
Your Responsibilities
•Assist Moldflow analysts with various administrative tasks
•Develop part mesh requirements, Moldflow result files and gating dimensional reports
•Modeling feed systems for use in Moldflow analysis and performing low-level filling analysis.
•Assisting in analysis correlation efforts and supporting tool trials.

•Plastics and plastics processing knowledge
Your preferred qualifications
•High School Diploma
•Currently Attending a College or University (Plastics Studies a plus)
•Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
•Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology
•Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer
