About you and this role
The Product Stewardship group provides the Environmental, Safety, Health and Sustainability support to clients (Dow businesses), JV partners and external customers to ensure our products are used safely for their intended purposes, throughout their life cycles. Currently we are looking for aProduct Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)to support our sustainability certification initiatives. The workplace is negotiable and can be hybrid. The preferred location for this position isGermanybut we are willing to consider the following locations as well:Netherlands, Belgium, US, France, Italy.
In this role you will coordinate a multi-functional team to achieve selected sustainability certifications of our appointed manufacturing assets. In addition, you will map and instruct business partners on key requirements as defined by sustainability certification schemes of interest. Finally, you will develop a program for the maintenance and renewal of the granted sustainability certifications.

Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates EH&S/product sustainability certification objectives, plans and goals in line with the business strategy
Develops and tracks a business global plan for sustainability certifications to be achieved throughout the year
Maps and communicates key requirements as defined by sustainability certification schemes of interest to the business
Coordinates a cross-functional team in aimed at implementing work processes, generating data and gathering documentation that are required for audits supporting the sustainability certification of production plants and/or products
Establishes program for the maintenance and renewal of the granted sustainability certifications
Engages in external advocacy initiatives to influence improvements of the sustainability certification schemes
Leverages Sustainability resources to ensure alignment with business, corporate and regional Sustainability objectives
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; preference for Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a Science-related degree
Master’s degree is desirable
Demonstrated direct experience with implementation of sustainability certification schemes in manufacturing locations in the chemical industry (such as ISCC Plus, Red Cert II, etc.)
Good knowledge of English is required; proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is beneficial
Business travel expected at 50%

Ability to work effectively in a globally diverse team and lead cross-functionality in a team-oriented project environment
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated mature technical skills, effective communication skills, IT proficiency, and sound judgment
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
