  Job Summary:

  Product Specialist CE & HID will be responsible for achieving and exceeding the assigned territory sales plan. Responsible for developing business opportunities, technical and application-based sales strategies, presenting and promoting Forensic & Capillary electrophoresis Platforms & Consumables.Maintaining a strong understanding of customer technical requirements, translating and making pitches with emphasis into producing effective sales training and strengthening the complete workflow selling concept.The Specialist must demonstrate deep technical credibility to create an impactful pitch for product choices for Forensics & Clinical.Strong business insight is desirable to translate successful account strategy into business results.

  Job Responsibilities:

  Meet or exceed CE & HID business goals agreed upon with Thermo Fisher Scientific commercial management for the territory.Leading Outstanding Products assigned in AOP viz. Forensic, Clinical & Research solutions including Instruments and Consumables. Effectively challenge to win projects against competitors. Efficiently position our solutions to address performance, workflow and budget.Collaborate within a matrixed organization (Regional Teams, Application Support Marketing) to find opportunities within territory to champion relationship between key customers to generate demand for related product linesDrive existing funnel of opportunities to accelerate closure rates.Responsible for working with regional sales teams for collecting tender information, making sure right tenders are pitched for and keeping a record of regional Win / loss for the tendersUnderstand Workflow requirements, drive additional Consumable utilization across accounts and target new customers and customers not using or partially our solutions and convert the business.Engage in the creation and communication of scientific information, education, and the developmentAchieve targeted no. of Product Seminars, present in conferences within each quarter and supervise the leads generated.Conducting Sales Training to Internal Teams and Dealers

  Qualifications

  MSc. in Life Sciences, Ph.D preferred.

  Skills and Experience:

  2+ years of Sales Experience in Life Science Industry, experience working with Govt Sector preferredExperience in Executive-Level Customer Engagement and ability to comprehend, apply & communicate technical information.Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques like Sample Prep, qPCR, Capillary Electrophoresis (Sanger) Sequencing, NGS.Scientific Consulting Competence- technical ability to advise customers on their testing needs to improve technology utilization and promote current advances in protocols, assays and capabilities. Understands and drive offerings to best position solutions.Sales Competence- Consult with customers at a defined list of Forensic & Academic & Clinical Research accounts to establish relationships and focus on project needs and workflows to drive implementation of Thermo Fisher Scientific's HID solutions. Successfully maintains current run rate business and drives additional consumables implementation.Great TeammateAcceptance to travel extensively (almost 60%).
