About Product & Sales Manager - 1PH Transformers

  Eaton's Power Delivery and Regulation Division is currently seeking a Product & Sales Manager - 1PH Transformers. This position is located at our HQ location in Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $116250.03 - $170500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

  What you'll do:

  Eaton's Product & Sales Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day tactical direction of the 1PH (single phase) transformer product line. They will be responsible for the execution of the product line strategy, marketing plans and growth programs, pricing and quotation packages, new product development projects, business development and customer value propositions to enhance sales and profitability growth.

  They will lead all aspects of VOC (voice of customer) collection for the Utility and C&I verticals of the product line. They will drive marketing activities and documentation required New Product Development projects and will be involved in business development with product line and Sales teams. Finally, they will work closely with the Engineering team to drive innovation and enhanced customer solutions for the 1PH Transformers business.

  Work closely with Product Line Manager to achieve Profit Plan Financials annually. Attain orders, sales, profit margin, price and vitality sales objectives for existing and new products. Take a leadership role in Business Development for the product line with Utility, C&I and international Sales Teams and customers.Provide Product Roadmap input and execute all Marketing responsibilities and stage-gate documentation required for new product development projects. Lead the Marketing process for large bid opportunities. Conduct pricing and margin analyses and provide recommendations to Product Line Manager, balancing business growth and profitability objectives.Directly manage, train, develop, motivate and mentor at least one Associate Product Manager and functionally lead and mentor a team of Utility-focused Application Engineers and Proposal Specialists to make smart decisions that secure profitable orders in the targeted segments.Execute all product launches for 1PH Transformers, working closely with marketing communications, engineering, operations and product line teams.Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, supply chain, and warranty to resolve commercial issues, support customer requirements and achieve product line objectives. Drive customer expedite requests.Create required product line sales tools, collateral and communications. Lead product line's participation in division wide marketing programs (i.e. trade shows, Tech Advantage events, etc.).Perform competitive analyses and develop competitive product comparisons as needed. Maintain a pulse on the competition. Provide regular market update / analysis (with projections) and market intelligence to the Product Line Manager. Support PLM with forecasting as required. Provide product training / develop training materials for Customers, Sales personnel and channel partners.

  Qualifications:

  Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of five (5) years of field sales experience, product line marketing experience, or combinationMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum two (2) years of experience in business development or strategic planningMinimum of two (2) years of experience in strategic pricing systems and market segmentationMinimum of (1) year of experience managing and developing people
