Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and/or Associate-Level Material Review Board (MRB) Liaison Engineers to become part of Boeing Global Services Modification and Sustainment Engineering Team in Hazelwood, Mo.
This position will support the modification, retrofit, and/or repair of multi-platform aircraft including, but not limited to, F-22, A-10, F-15.
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leads / participates in the research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
Leads / participates in analyses, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
Develops and implements product/process improvements.
Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution.
Leads / participates in the development of interim and final solutions.
Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
Leads / participates in activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
Leads / participates in the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Hazelwood, Mo). This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
2+ years of relevant work experience.
Engineering MRB (Material Review Board) certification.
1+ years’ experience interfacing with aircraft production, modification, and/or retrofit teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Typical Education & Experience:
Associate-Level :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced-Level :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Associate-Level Summary pay range: $73,950 - $100,050
Experienced-Level Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
