Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in Hardware Quality in server, PC, network device, consumer electronics, automotive, or other commercial/industrial products.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
American Society for Quality certifications (CQE, CQM, CRE, or CQA) or equivalent.
Knowledge of computing product development, manufacturing processes, test/debug methods, and experience with PCBA manufacturing and server computer system integrations.
Familiarity with quality methods and tools such as DFMEA/PFMEA, cause-effects diagrams, Pareto charts, control charts, scatter diagram, box plot, histogram, stratification, flow chart. 8D report.
Familiarity with IPC standards for PCBA (e.g. IPC-A-610) and analysis tools (e.g., JMP, mini-tab), including problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently.
In this role, you will lead product related activities between internal engineering teams and suppliers for the end-to-end product lifecycle. This includes identifying and managing risks and communicating project goals to stakeholders.
You will support Google’s technologies used by Data Centers and support Google services including Google Cloud Platform. You'll join the team responsible for setting and managing the product quality standards and metrics for Google’s Data Center equipment. Additionally, you will create the processes, tools, and procedures to help continuously improve our products and manufacturing process. You will analyze the product field performance data from the Data Center, and provide analysis and actionable enhancement to improve product quality and reliability. You'll work very closely with various highly skilled design and manufacturing engineering teams, product operations, and supply chain teams to ensure the product represents the very best of Google's brand and ensures a quality of service beyond today’s standards.

Lead the product hardware quality for Data center hardware infrastructure throughout the product lifecycle, including qualification through manufacuring test and data center deployment, life cycle management, change management, and additional supplier/production site and line qualification, to ensure consistent quality meets Google standard.
Lead proactive achievement of system level product quality goals from concept through EOL. Provide technical leadership, set priorities, and drive resolution of complex technical issues for a robust product quality and predictable field deployment.
Analyze manufacturing and field quality/reliability data to extract actionable insights and areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.
Initiate, drive and implement innovative product, process, and tools development/improvement both independently and in a cross-functional environment.
Monitor, review, and present product performance data and metrics to stakeholders in a concise and clear way that enables data-driven decision making.
