Platform pricing, licensing and monetization strategy team within Lab45 is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Pricing and Licensing Manger to join our team. The Product Pricing and Licensing Manager will be responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting competitive research, and developing pricing strategies to drive the business goals and profitability for Lab45 products and platforms.
This role requires background in product strategy and experience in technology with strong quantitative skills, business acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and maximize profitability Collaborate with product, platform and finance teams to gather data and insights for pricing decisions Analyze customer behavior and purchasing patterns to optimize pricing structures and promotions Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins to optimize product pricing. Prepare pricing reports and presentations for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact pricing strategies. Work with product teams and finance on the development and maintenance of pricing models and tools Monitor and update commercial price lists in collaboration with finance and product teams Identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies Ensure pricing strategies adhere to Lab45 policies Qualifications:
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, engineering, or a related field, an MBA will be preferred. Proven experience in similar role/activities in technology industry Detail-orientation with strong organizational and time management skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other statistical software Knowledge of pricing methodologies, market research techniques, and competitive analysis Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex pricing concepts to stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
