The Product Strategy & Planning department at Thomson Reuters is the department that examines, plans, and implements the Company's product and service offerings to better serve its customers.
About the Role
As the Product Planning Specialist, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Analyse and clarify the value of the product in terms of market needs, cost, and profit.Product strategies are developed by analysing aspects such as feasibility of product manufacturing, difficulty of market penetration, and compatibility with internal operations.Collaborate with relevant internal and external departments and stakeholders to develop a plan to realize the product strategy.As the manager of the project, the project manager checks progress and issues, forecasts achievement, and reports to stakeholders.Market trends, competitive analysis, and exploration of new business opportunities for legal information services.Collaborate with overseas members.
About You
To be successful as the Product Planning Specialist, you will have the following:
Work experience in a business or consulting firm in an area related to product strategy or market analysis.Bachelor's degree in a legal field or work experience in legal information services or related industry.Degree from a business-related higher education institution (MBA, economics, strategic management, etc.) is a plusExperience working with and managing internal and external stakeholders.Experience with new product development and product redefinition projects.English proficiency to the extent that it does not interfere with communication with overseas members.Problem-solving skills: the ability to solve complex business problems quickly and effectively.Project Management: The ability to effectively operate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.IT Skills: Ability to understand the latest technology trends and apply them to product development.Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.Strategic Thinking: Ability to set and achieve short-term goals while maintaining a long-term vision.Business acumen: Knowledge of business-related topics such as market trends, financial analysis, marketing and sales strategies, and practical skills.English: Ability to read, write, and speak English at a simple level.
