Job Title: Product Owner (PO) for Product, Pricing, Eligibility (PPE) and Loan Origination System (LOS) Replacement Project.
*This position can be hybrid in Denver or fully remote.
Job Summary
As a Product Owner in the Information Systems Department you'll create and manage the backlog for the Manufacturing Automation Services agile team delivering new features of our new custom Loan Origination System platform. You'll work with business executives, management, end users, and agile teams to deliver solutions to complex business problems within Pulte's collaborative and friendly culture.
Responsibilities
Develop and prioritize product features by working with business stakeholders.
Develop and clarify user stories to deliver product features.
Build, groom, and prioritize product backlog to maximize value delivery.
Collaborate with product owners, architects and delivery teams to design the system solution for assigned features and user stories.
Resolve feature questions through data analysis and software tools (SQL, XML, etc.).
Present product features at sprint demonstrations to end users, managers, and executives.
Develop detailed understanding of the product within a complex service-oriented architecture.
Apply analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
Communicate information clearly, effectively, and professionally to stakeholders, managers, and delivery teams.
Continuously improve agile team performance and other agile processes.
Assist Product Manager on product vision and roadmap.
Review training materials and operating procedures; participate in training sessions, and provide roll-out support.
Develop use cases and textual requirements from both business and technical perspectives, as needed.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience delivering software in agile (preferred) or waterfall environment
3+ years of requirements management experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager (CSPO strongly desired)
3+ years of experience in mortgage origination systems including product and pricing. Detailed understanding of mortgage financial calculations or compliance management is a big plus.
Demonstrating leadership, facilitation, consensus-building, and problem-solving skills
Documenting as-is and to-be process flows (BPMN is a plus)
Complex integrated environments, such-as service-oriented architectures
Demonstrated experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Object-oriented analysis and design or UML is a plus
Experience with automated testing strategies is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
Budgeted Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
