Overview
Technology underpins our entire business, and our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy is focused on strengthening engineering expertise, introducing an agile delivery model, and modernizing the Bank's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. We continue to invest and build a team of visionary tech talent, providing you with the training, freedom and opportunity to do pioneering work. As a Product Owner you will deliver significant components of engineering solutions to satisfy complex and diverse business goals. You will engage and partner with the Business whilst working within a broader creative, collaborative and innovative team, with a strong desire to make an impact. This position will be responsible for Backlog Refinement, Backlog Prioritization and Feature Elaboration of the RiskFinder Data Services platform in Enterprise Risk Technology.

What You'll Do
Reviewing customer needs, issues and improvements to the current platform and business processes
Defining and driving product and team backlog items including Features and User Stories within a Lean-Agile Team
Researching and working with teams to generate solution options to customer needs and issues including associated costs and benefits, with emphasis on maximizing the value delivered
Prioritizing and executing improvement work, working closely with stakeholders, users, Business Analysts, Developers, System Architects and Production Support
Managing deliverables, issues and dependencies to ensure successful delivery and a range of stakeholders in the delivery streams and line functions
Skills You'll Need
Certified Scrum Product Owner (or equivalent from a recognized professional agile framework organization) with expertise in Business Functional Analysis in Investment Banking, as well as Product Management
Experience of Lean-Agile delivery working with SCRUM, Kanban or XP team
Proven track record in delivery within the Investment Banking domain, delivering complex products, working to tight deadlines and flagging potential problems at an early stage
Knowledge of full lifecycle management engaging with multiple global stakeholder teams
Ability to demonstrate practical usage with good technical foundations and knowledge of databases, Structured Query Language (SQL), Jira and Excel, as well as experienced with Big Data technologies like Sparc, Hadoop and Scala

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.
The salary range for this position in Cary is $96,000 to $137,600. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
