Product Owner
Leads the strategic vision and roadmap for our digital enablement and data roadmap in Canada to support building on a foundation of integrated digital experiences and enhancing our view of the client across multiple technology platforms, including internally built systems and Marketing Technology. Supports our goals of enabling key distribution teams across Sales and Marketing toward data-driven decisions and methodology, building key integrations and technologies to support real-time data enrichment opportunities.
Core Responsibilities: Leads digital and data product management activities for multiple products in Vanguard Canada that help drive our data and digital distribution goals for the organization.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to improve the client experience.Strong understanding of connecting multiple technologies to create a full client picture and enhance internal knowledge of the customer to support our goals of driving the best client experience and supporting our key distribution partners with supportive technologies.Able to translate business requirements for technical partners and owning the strategy for the digital enablement roadmap at Vanguard Canada.Work in partnership with product owners across the organization to support prioritization of each build with strong stakeholder management across the enterprise.Coaches product delivery teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.Leads the planning, development, and implementation of new products. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans. Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities to achieve our goals.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Strong understanding of data and analytics, and the use of marketing analytics to drive business goals, including engagement scoring strategies and implementing Marketing Technology to drive transformation.Background in Marketing Technology and Data Management preferred.Understanding of agile practices will be critical to this role.Experience with Adobe an asset, including Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Adobe Analytics, CRM systems, including Salesforce and Dynamics, and knowledge of data management systems and best practices.How We Work
