Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Product Management professional to join a winning team working with market leading products in the orthopedic medical device industry!
Product Managers are responsible for assisting to develop and implement marketing plans relating to a group of product lines, including developing materials and following processes required for product launches, product line maintenance, promotions and messaging, production planning, and field sales tools. Product Managers are technical experts in their product lines.
The primary role of this Product Manager will be focused on the strategic growth and development of our Knee and Lower Extremities Bracing platform. With many new products and programs launching, this is a good opportunity to apply knowledge and learn the professional launch process and meet the professional sales team.
Product development
Identifies new product opportunities by assessing portfolio gaps, competitive landscape, and capturing VOCUtilizes market research to properly inform strategy for product commercializationDevelops business cases and presents to senior leadership teamManages commercialization of newly developed products by leading speed to market activities, developing marketing collateral and promotional strategies, as well as training the sales force
Product line management and strategy
Acts as subject matter and product expert for the assigned product in the Knee/Lower Extremities PortfolioSupports program development initiatives by providing insights related to VOC and market trendsCollaborate with sales teams to define customers needs and workflowsLeverage data and competitive insights to continuously evolve our understanding of the customer, the competition, market, surgery and clinical (i.e. Osteoarthritis, ACL Injury) trends Develops and manages relationships with KOLsProvides monthly product forecasts to operations to support inventory planningAssists in annual strategic planning process
Promotions and channel support
Own the development and execution of a multi-segment spine marketing strategyDevelops and executes annual marketing plans to meet revenue growth expectationsUtilizes various communication channels to promote, position, and message to all customer stakeholdersDevelops marketing collateral, social media content, and advertising campaigns to drive growth of the assigned portfolioDevelops sales support tools in collaboration with sales operations teamAssess market and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning processSupports sales training team to educate new sales representatives on the assigned product portfolioWorks cross-functionally with other business units to promote comprehensive continuum of careWorks closely with 3rd party marketing agencies to develop new messaging strategies and conduct market researchUtilizes Marketing Excellence (MEX) process to develop customer segmentation, messaging, and tactics to improve marketing effectivenessMaintains list pricing and field discount guidelinesAttends and supports industry events
Other
Special projects, such as researching trends, developing reports, and other projects as required from time to time.

Experience
Minimum of 4+ years of marketing and/or sales experience medical device, orthopedics, or a related field
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business, marketing or other related disciplineMBA preferred

Travel
Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required.Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-3 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
