The Product Manager owns, maintains, and prioritizes the product development cycle from the roadmap to the delivery and planning of future enhancements. Shares the product vision and works closely with the Business Owner, Program Management and Scrum Master to ensure the team delivers value to the business.
This individual is a self-starter; with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities without being provided explicit direction. Solid presentation skills, analytic skills, and a passion for improving consumer experiences using technology are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:
Understands customer needs and evaluates effective product solutions based on the tools Optum uses for Analytics, in different data delivery models Plan, coordinates and manages product development and enhancement projects across Master data management team initiatives Develops a project plan, the budget and schedules based on client requirements Ensures traceability between requirements to Features to user stories Create business user stories in Rally and document the project in Wiki, Confluence or SharePoint sites Partners with Scrum master's in supporting Scrum Framework through daily standups and ceremonies Shares and decomposes Features into user stories for each PI, sprint, etc. Develops product models and plans to achieve corporate revenue growth Develops a deep understanding of the customer and product needs Works closely with Product Management to represent capabilities and features at a team and Program level Accountable for the business requirements, the product backlog, and the prioritization of user stories with team members Periodically re-prioritize the product backlog based on customer feedback, market changes and business priorities Review of test cases against user stories acceptance criteria Formally accepts the front-end user stories once all acceptance criteria are met and demo-ed Update clients about changes of project status and any road blockers on regular basis Coordinates product demos to customers Maintain solid working relationships with customers and identify new opportunities of product growth Review current technical development proposals and user cases for new and current products Address customer and employee concerns promptly through weekly and one on one meetings Provide strategic direction to Scrum team under area of responsibility on what priorities impact the Company revenue growth Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements across different areas that supports

One year of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to one year of experience.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of product management experience 3+ years BI testing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile experience Practical understanding of Scrum principles and practices Knowledge and experience in basic data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining Aha or Rally experience Jira experience Agile and/or PMP certification

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
