About the role
In the rapidly changing and increasingly competitive environment within Central Europe we are seeking to recruit a Product Manager to strengthen our organizational capabilities. The successful candidate will actively supply to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in MDS. They will support the Field Sales team with the development and implementation of marketing and commercial strategies in conjunction with the GSA (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and CEE leadership team (Central Eastern Europe) and the European platforms.
Main responsibilities will include:
Technical support and product training for the sales teams, including distributors and customers; using market and product knowledge to develop focused campaigns in terms of commercial marketing strategies with special focus on our strategic imperative Patient Safety and in close cooperation within BDX and other business units.In conjunction with sales management, develop the local differentiation strategies with emphasis on service and profit for the respective key business centers and translate them into tactical plans for the sales team.Develop and own commercial campaigns and marketing plans for focused markets and customer groupsCoordinate segmentation, targeting and positioning roll out with the development of responding marketing communication plans and activities and develop appropriate promotional materials to support the country tactical business plan.Align Value Offerings with the BD Way of Selling.Have a working understanding of a sales organisation, distribution channels, Supply chain and pricing Implications appropriate to product range.Supervise market trends and customer demand & thereby ensure appropriate level of product stock via forecast tools.Support and implementation of digital campaigns as part of the digital transformation process towards omnichannel for selected markets.Interfaces with the European product and inventory management teams to use an effective support to the local sales teams.
About you
Degree level qualification in Marketing or related fieldClinical ExperienceProficiency in German and EnglishAbility to demonstrate dynamic achievements especially in a multidisciplinary environmentPC literate mainly Microsoft & SFDCExcellent communication, presentation and organisational skillsSelf-motivated with a desire for self-developmentSelf-starter with the ability to finalize projects ensuring visibility and reliability to collaborators
