Job Summary
The Manageability Product Team is responsible for building and leading the industry "best-in-class" management platform. We have a unique opportunity to execute on our "Unified Fabric" within the Product Management team at NetApp. NetApp platform team
works closely with On-Prem and Cloud teams, Solution architects, Outbound PM and GTM, Product Marketing, Sales and Data Analytics.
As the product manager in the Monitoring & Observability Platform team, you will define and evolve our end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution by leading a core team of engineers and designers to build amazing products for our expansive customer base. We're looking for someone who can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, has a deep understanding of our customers and technology, and deliver features within Monitoring and Observability.
Job Requirements
• Critical member of the Monitoring & Observability product management team to define and deliver on the Monitoring, Alerting, Reporting and remediation experience for customers on the NetApp BlueXP platform
• Work cross functionally with Netapp portfolio product teams, sales teams, partners and customers
• Develop Product Roadmaps that are endorsed by key stakeholders
• Create enhancement opportunities by reviewing existing metrics, analyzing trends and performance dashboards; strive for continuous improvement in product service level targets and offerings
• Prioritize requirements related to Monitoring, Alerting, Reporting and remediation for hybrid cloud services and solutions
• Engage with product and engineering teams on various requirements.
• Lead alignment across sales, product management, engineering and product marketing functions to deliver solutions for the customer
• Work with GTM teams to plan and drive launches, awareness and adoption
What You Need
• Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
• Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
• Experience building enterprise products from ideation to launch.
• Deep understanding and passion for delivering best in class customer experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams of engineers towards a common goal
• Strong understanding of cloud services and hybrid cloud uses cases of enterprise customers
• Experience in one or more of the following: cloud infrastructure, SaaS, enterprise storage, cloud services, Virtualization, hybrid cloud use cases, networking, manageability domains (Monitoring & Observability, Alerting & Remediations, Reporting, Analytics, etc.)
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support or Marketing.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education
• 5-8 years of experience is required . 4 years of experience in product management , consulting or related technical role
• A Bachelor of Engineering is required or equivalent education.
