Team Introduction
We are the Platform Product Team within the Trust and Safety at TikTok. Our core mission is unwaveringly focused on upholding a trustworthy and secure environment for our users. Under the direction of Risk and Response, we collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing and refining our toolset, enabling us to identify trust and safety risks at early stages. We are committed to vigilant monitoring of online risks and agile in our response to swiftly evolving risky trends, ensuring a safer online space for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
- Responsible for the development of the TikTok risk management platform, encompassing risk perception, response, and disposal capabilities. This role involves refining online response processes and creating industry-leading solutions.
- Establish a security capability evaluation system, collaborating with business units to define security assessment methods and indicators. Additionally, drive the implementation of these projects in the business sector.
- Focus on data analysis and results-oriented strategies, proactively identifying and addressing system and business challenges to drive effective solutions.
- Facilitate cross-team communication and collaboration, constantly striving to enhance business operations and the evolution of the platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the internet industry with a background in product management, including at least 1 year of leadership experience in fast-growing companies.
- Strong business acumen and a thorough understanding of business dynamics, skilled at identifying and addressing user pain points.
- Demonstrates excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, capable of leading product development from inception (0-1) to expansive growth (1-N).
- Exceptional communication skills and adept at cross-functional & cross-cultural collaborations.
- Resilient under pressure, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and embracing new opportunities.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to learn and innovate, with experience in starting new businesses and effectively leading teams for business growth.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $135850 - $282606 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
