About Walmart Data Ventures Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart's data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we're seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
As a Product manager III, you will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and data stewards to build products. This is an individual contributor role focused on driving success of our new suite of automated data sharing product portfolio. This role requires focusing on all aspects of launching a new product including hypothesis testing, product development and Go to market. You will be expected to understand our customers & track industry trends.
What you'll do:
Drive & execute the Headless Access product roadmap including Native BI plug ins, Cloud to Cloud data sharing and Data Feeds.
Partnering with key partners (internal & external) to drive their alignment with business goals.
Organizing the sprints, prioritizing the product backlog, and providing clarity around requirements to the product development group.
Conducting market analysis to identify product opportunities and ensure long-term product success.
Translate complex and large structured and un-structured datasets into actionable KPIs that can benefit our clients.
Create actionable insights using Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Excel and Power Bi
Provide support to sales engineering, business development and account management as needed. Be the product subject matter expert.
Define and track success metrics for products and features to ensure product health and ensure adoption.
Conduct customer touch-bases to understand their needs and communicate the roadmap.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in product management.
5 years' experience in product management or related areaExperience with SQL, databases and big dataExperience with visualization tools like Tableau and or Power BIExperience with cloud service providers like Snowflake or Databricks highly desired Working knowledge of APIs
