Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or a related technical role.
2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in consumer facing Payment products and features development in Japan market.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, user experience, marketing, legal, finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience communicating and negotiating with external partners.
Ability to bring product managers, designers, and engineers on board on the same goal.

In this role, you will be taking ownership to design and deliver payment and loyalty experiences across Google payment products and beyond.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Responsibilities
Define product roadmap to integrate Japan common payment methods and surface it across multiple Google products online and offline.
Define and document milestones, develop Japan payment product goals using comprehensive knowledge of the Japan market landscape and user insights.
Work with internal and external partner teams (e.g., engineers, Program Managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements.
Drive and resolve technical and/or UX product design related issues.
Lead Japan payment features launches and growth in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
