Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.
As part of The Aerospace, Defense, & Marine business unit within the Industrial Solutions sector, the Product Manager will be joining a team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about bringing to market the product and technology that customers need in a fiercely competitive playing field. You will implement winning strategies that drive sustainable, faster-than-market growth with a relentless culture of innovation, integrity, accountability, and teamwork that leverages our diversity.
This remote role will take a lead role in driving sustainable, profitable growth on key customer programs by engaging stakeholders to secure milestone and schedule attainment that is both on-time and on-budget. This pivotal role champions successful execution of the strategy by leading through influence a cross-disciplinary team within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver profitable growth faster than market
• External focus and demonstrated experience in customer-facing role
• Ascertain & articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Drive innovation and deliver first to market highly engineered solutions that secure sustainable differentiation
• Forge and effectively communicate strategy of where to play and how to win
• Create roadmaps, develop forecasts, execute strategic initiatives
• Negotiate contracts and extract value-based pricing from the marketplace
• Robust portfolio management of product lines in various phases of life cycle
• Own and maintain the P&L for assigned product lines
• Champion cost-out initiatives - collaborate with manufacturing resources to achieve productivity and material cost targets
Global Travel is possible up to 20% of the time (when customers and restrictions allow)
Essential Knowledge and Skills
• Strong communication, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external)
• Clear strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, public speaking, and proposal writing skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate critical information appropriately.
• High level of IT capability with detailed experience of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel; global travel experience sensitive to cultural nuance
• Technical and commercial education/ experience related to Engineering Manufacturing in a similar industry would be beneficial.

• Creativity (with focus on innovation, think out of the box)
• Problem Solving (especially complex technical problems) Root Cause Analysis, ability to link Operations, Customer Focus, Supply Chain, Quality and Demand with sales delivery.
What your background should look like:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline; Mechanical, Industrial preferred with 8+ years professional experience
• 5+ years' experience in project leadership over multiple, contiguous projects including those within a regulated field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• High level of written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical ideas

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $125,600 - $188,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
