Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) The Specialty Diagnostics Group offers a wide range of diagnostic test kits, reagents, culture media, instruments and associated products in order to serve customers in healthcare, clinical, pharmaceutical, industrial, and food safety laboratories. Thermo Fisher's healthcare products are used to increase the speed and accuracy of diagnoses, which improves patient care in a more cost-efficient manner.

How will you make an impact?
This position is responsible for supporting our clinical chemistry, immunoassay Quality Control product line. In this role, you will support our on market products, new product roadmap and planning through market research. You will be managing the gathering and objective prioritization of customer requirements, and working cross-functional with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Operations and commercial groups to ensure customer satisfaction and support of the company's overall strategy and objectives.
A Day in the Life
Support the senior product management leadership team:To define the product strategy and roadmap by market researchTo determine customers' needs and translate into features, in line with the defined product vision and strategy, and creating benefits and value for the customersTo continuously identify and fill product gapsTo establish requirements and deliver specification in Product Requirements Document (PRD)Participate in planning meetings and provide expertise in Quality Control productsSupport training of the Sales Force, and contribute to product demonstrations as neededMaintain all documents as required by the Quality Management SystemEnsure that all project requirements for documentation, corrective actions and other requirements are met in a timely manner
How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Life Sciences
Experience:
3+ years of product management or other relevant experienceExperience in the IVD clinical laboratory market is a plusProven product management and technical experience in a IVD clinical settingProficiency in product research and analysisExperience in lab workflow of a clinical lab setting working with patient samples, running instruments, and quality controls is a plusExperience with IVD Software will be beneficial

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $123,000.00-$145,000.00.
