Product Information Specialist
(fixed term contract for 16 months)
to join our team in Budapest!
The role:
This position is part of the OneSource organization predominantly supporting the Global Marketing Team, providing data & analysis related support:
The incumbent will be working predominantly on product data- specifically our product information such as visual (image) assets, product attributes, and more. The key objective of the role would be to assist the transition of our product information to a new product information (PIM) solution, ensuring data integrity and maximizing the enrichment and usefulness of the product information across ELC channels. Key responsibilities involve working around product data information including gathering, manipulation, validation, consolidation, and organizing, to aid transition of our product information to our PIM solution.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the Prestige beauty industry, our brands, and products. You should be able to demonstrate logical structured thinking, and ways of working; this can be further enabled by one's ability to build & leverage industry & brand-specific knowledge, familiarity to PIM solution/s, and familiarity to data analytics solutions.
You will have an opportunity to have rare direct access to prestige beauty industry knowledge, product information management methodology and solution, as well as across ELC brands, by being part of the core team working with experts assisting the transformation of ELC product information as we transition to a new PIM solution.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
This position is part of the OneSource organization supporting the Global Marketing Team. There may be extensive interactions within/across OneSource teams as well as with the Corporate Marketing, IT, and innovation teams to deliver on deadlines.
Marketing Data Analytics Support
Ability to combine and apply functional knowledge (Marketing), with technical ability (data analytics) in working around consumer and product data Perform marketing data processing on product and consumer-level data, and other marketing related research Assist on greenfield marketing related projects Quality assurance testing to ensure the integrity of the data outputs Compose and maintain documentation on data processing and segmenting rules Cross functional collaboration with IT, Corporate Marketing and Business analysts to ensure accuracy of data processing Make recommendations to enhance data quality, and enabling application technologies Support marketing dashboard development and maintenance
Continuous Improvement
Establish standard operating procedures for data standardization and segmentation including product attributes, product benefits, product claims Identification / development / enhancement of solutions along the data analytics value chain Periodic update of data dictionaries whenever necessary Support continuous improvement projects such as UAT testing - enhancing the data model to improve the accuracy of the machine learning model and reduce the lead time of data being made available to users of reports. Proactively identify area of improvements on existing process or establish and test on new hypothesis
Service Management
Ensure all SLAs/KPIs to our stakeholders are met Ensure that new/revised business needs are translated to daily operations and roles and responsibilities Provide back up support within the team. Be part of maintaining a motivating workplace and safe working environment for all team and department colleagues
Key Skills:
University Graduate - Business, Marketing or a quantitative degree. Minimum 2-3 years in similar positions. Experience and comfort with working on large data sets, and demonstrated ability to manipulate and summarize both quantitative, and qualitative data. Experience with analytics tools (and related skills) is preferred (Excel & Python, etc.). Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills in English is required. Strong interest in the beauty industry (prior knowledge of the industry is a plus)- interest in working closely with product marketing data- including collecting qualitative data through research and performing product & attribute classifications is a plus. Prior experience in marketing analytics and data governance is a plus. A keen learner, who takes initiative and is proactive in solving problems, as well as supporting the team's needs. Attention to details, and the ability to work independently. Ability and willingness to work across and manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines. Good stakeholder management skills, with an ability to foster a team relationship with co-workers and all agency disciplines. Critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to opportunities. Creates an accountability and own it culture.
Please note that this role involves interacting and working alongside stakeholders across different time zones - APAC, NA, etc. This means that occasional late calls and discussions may be unavoidable, however, flexibility to manage one's working hours will be provided in consideration.
