At Alight we strive to provide "best in class" offerings and IP enabled services for our customers.
We are currently seeking an experienced Product Support Manager for our Global Payroll platform. The Product Support Manager will be responsible for Alight's enterprise payroll module and related add-ons.
The role encompasses daily monitoring reviewing, executing support requests, managing successful delivery of release into production with quality, and involved in resolving any platform outages or escalation.
You will be responsible to establishing, managing, and refining the operational parameter so that it continuous evolves so that we delivery excellence with quality to our clients.
This role will require a strong understanding of HR and payroll systems and processes and an ability to work and leverage resources across the organization.
The Product Support Manager, will be involved in the following critical activities:
Responsible for the day-to-day manging of a team and support requests for Alight Worklife Payroll platformServing as lead for the Product Support in Product Engineering working with Management, Client Delivery, and other teamsPro-active collaborates with Engineering team and other stakeholders to reported issue until we have resolution accepted for the reported issue.Provide coaching and advice to other areas of change to help empower and transfer knowledge to other teamsReviews and prioritizes Team backlog, including coordination of dependencies with other Product Managers.Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture and QA to assist with decision-making and prioritising requests for new or improvement in functionality.Identifying and mitigating and risk / issues in new release development or support of existing releasesManages and maintains efficient flow of just-in-time story elaboration activities (user story refinement) throughout team execution, typically maintaining 2 iterations (sprints) worth user stories available and ready in team backlog.Manage different stakeholder contributions in structure / objective way to ensure consistent delivery.Ensure our communication for releases is with end user in mind and reflects how the end user will and should be using the delivered solution.Must be willing to work on a rotating basis during public holidays and weekends
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong analytical skills and with a good technical understanding of HR and Payroll combined with keen business acumen of value.Service-oriented and Pro-active with a keen sense of accountabilitySelf-starter with proven record of working independently and collaboratively in a demanding interdisciplinary team environment.Detail oriented & thorough, with ability to understand and identify the key trends and levers that drive the business.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to clearly explain complex cases and analysis is equally important as understanding it.A willingness & eagerness to learn and further develop your career in Product development and support environment.Ability and persistence to find root causes and drive to understand the unknown.Strong ability to apply abstract theory and expertise to solve real-world problems.Hands-on approach with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.Self-starter with proven record of working independently and collaboratively in a demanding interdisciplinary team environment.Track record of success in dealing effectively with complex topics entailing frequent interaction with senior leaders.
Experiences
Bachelor's or master's, degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent.4+ years, experience or knowledge in the HR or Payroll industry.2+ years, experience of managing projects or resources in IT delivery and / or Customer Support Technology.2+ years working in Agile, lean and or DevOps driven environment.Functional knowledge of HR and Payroll would be added advantage.
