The team you will be a part of
The Regional Module Engineer creates and executes the Wash Unit and related components of our Vertical Axis washers, focusing on washer platforms from a performance and cost standpoint regionally.
This role in summary
As a member of the VA Wash Unit Engineering team, he/she will be responsible for component/module development. The plan includes Ideal Development Plan creation, knowledge gap identification, Roadmap development and execution, cost reduction strategy development and execution, conceptual 3D models, assemblies and drawings, design verification and validation plan, as well as communicating trade-offs of system attributes.
Your responsibilities will include
The primary goal of this professional will be executing VA Washer projects in the LARN and NAR Region. He/she will work on all deliverables needed to successfully deliver the project(s). He/she will understand project requirements, and make sure these requirements are met. He/she will be responsible for knowledge management (Design Verification Plan, FMEAs, A3s) within the project.. He/she will also be working to identify pipeline projects for cost and quality for structural assemblies and components - as one of the deliverables of each project.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proven Development and Execution examples
Ability to influence and drive consensus
Ability to work well in team environments
Proficiency in communicating in English language
Preferred skills and experiences
BSME Degree
Cost & Quality experience
Lean Product Development/ Six Sigma Blackbelt
Design for Safety/Reliability/Assembly;
Simulation Based Design
New product development experience.
Sheet metal design experience
Plastics injection molding design experience
