The Product Development Director (Tooling U-SME) will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of our training materials, digital assets, and delivery platforms. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our new products and services by collaborating with customers, understanding market changes, and leading the strategic development of new content offerings and platform features.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Engage with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and feedback related to our training materials and delivery platforms. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization.Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. Identify opportunities and threats to our products and services.Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and roadmap based on customer insights and market research. Define the vision for our training materials and delivery platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and content creators, to prioritize features and enhancements for our products. Ensure that development efforts align with strategic objectives.Identify opportunities to expand our content library and develop new training materials to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Manage content creation projects and partnerships.Lead the development of new features and improvements for our digital delivery platforms. Ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.Plan and execute successful product launches, including defining release strategies, coordinating with marketing teams, and monitoring product performance post-launch.Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to iterate on our products and improve user satisfaction.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of our products. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.Other duties as assigned.
