  We're looking for a Product Control Analyst to support the Market Data function as well as Profit and Loss (P/L) Reporting. You will support the front offices which includes: Daily monitoring of pricing systems, performing operations required for accurate EOD system batch processing, generating and reviewing the accuracy of daily Official P/L reports, daily reconciliation of said reports against the general ledger and resolution of any related issues.

  Responsibilities:

  Market Data

  Perform the market data snap process to retrieve end of day prices for all positions the bank is involved with.Work with the Independent Price Verification Team to maintain/update all tickers as instructed.Perform analysis on market data to ensure that day over day pricing is reasonable.Work closely with Risk, Trading Desks, etc when ad-hoc questions arise on market data levels.Gain a strong understand of the market data system to be able to complete updates and maintenance in a timely manner.

  P/L Reporting

  Maintain production of daily P/L and market risk management reportsPerform a first-level review and analysis of data for accuracy, completeness, and validity of balances.Review and analyze final P/L reports accuracy and completeness.Ensure timely and accurate production of regular reporting.Daily General Ledger ReconciliationResponsible for the reconciliation of P&L balances.Perform reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger uploads.Perform analysis of valuation breaks as they relate to the resolution of identified discrepancies.Generate report outputs for distribution to supported departments.Monitor EOD ProcessingMonitor accurate and timely data across multiple front and back-office systems.Perform file transfers and system jobs in a timely manner.Coordinate timely execution of recovery processes to ensure EOD batch is accurate and complete.Attend weekly meetings geared toward the resolution of ongoing issues.Customer Support (Internal)Respond to audit, front office, and comptrollers' reconciliation requests.Liaise with the Front Desk, Back office, Comptrollers, Auditors, Head office and IT support on issues related to PL reporting.Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

  The right candidate will have:

  1-2 years' experience in a related fieldKnowledge of derivative products and/or pricingAttention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.Intermediate to advanced technical skills, including Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of Bloomberg and VBA a plusBachelor's degree or higher

  The typical base pay range for this role is between $90K - $110K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
