Job Description This Product Communications Associate will be responsible for internal communication of our product updates within Ecovadis, and external communication to our customers through various means including (but not limited to) the product roadmap, release notes/emails, articles, guides, and shoutouts. The role will report to the VP of Portfolio Strategy & Product Operations and involve close collaboration with the Product Communications Lead. Collaboration with other teams across EcoVadis will be required to define content requirements and craft messages that articulate feature and capability extensions across our multi-product portfolio. Overall this work will support the goal of driving greater awareness and adoption of product improvements and new product launches.
Key responsibilities include:
Internal communications:
Coordinate and create assets for product release communications to ensure clarity on what is planned for design/development, as well as the specifics of what product features are being released - while ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and informed;Define and update the release communications process to ensure process and communications are fit for purpose as we scale; Own, create, and publish internally to EcoVadis, clear and engaging communications for product notes, community posts, and internal product emails aligned to the product release cadence; Create product update assets for the frontline enablement teams, bringing them up to speed on what’s recently been delivered and what is coming soon;Support in the creation of content and assets for other internal communications including board updates and roadmaps. External communications:
Coordinate and create clear external release communications: Help Center product update articles; in-platform announcements for product updates; on-platform Pendo guides;Support additional external communications about product updates: emails; customer-specific communications for feature-development-related news; on-platform Pendo guides;Partner with UX designers, product managers, and other functional teams and internal business stakeholders to communicate the user experience of new/updated features and functionalities;Support Product Management, UX designers, and UX Writers in creating best-in-class communication about customer feedback received via the Product Portal;Support in the creation of content and assets for the publication of the customer-facing product roadmap and other ad hoc customer-facing materials. Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s Degree in English, journalism or communications; A minimum of 3 years experience as an editor producing and publishing product content relating to release notes and customer roadmap communications in a digital B2B environment;Advantageous to have extensive knowledge of different communication practices and strategies alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to listen carefully, quickly establish rapport, and build relationships, while taking into account the needs of multiple stakeholders;A demonstrated attention to detail and time management skills to complete tasks to a high quality within demanding deadlines;English fluent, other languages are a plus.
