The Job
As a Product Analyst in our Central Product Management team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our AAA titles by leveraging data and insights to inform product decisions. You will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to analyze player behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape the direction of our games. The Daily
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to player behavior, in-game metrics, and performance to provide actionable insights.Player Insights: Develop a deep understanding of player preferences and behavior through data analysis and player feedback.Reporting: Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide visibility into game performance.A/B Testing: Collaborate with Product Managers to design and execute A/B tests to optimize game features, monetization strategies, and player engagement.Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to help inform product decisions.Feature Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the impact of new features and changes to the game, providing data-driven recommendations.Product Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for product improvement and optimization, such as user interface enhancements and game balance adjustments.Monetization Analysis: Analyze in-game monetization strategies, pricing models, and virtual economies to maximize revenue while maintaining player satisfaction.Feedback Loop: Act as a bridge between the player community and the development team, conveying player feedback and concerns for consideration.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in data analysis and product analytics.
The Essentials
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, data science, business, computer science) or equivalent experience.1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the gaming industry.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.Strong communication skills to convey findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming market and player behavior.Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
