As a Producer, you'll serve as the heart of the newsroom. You'll lead the charge on driving local news coverage and determining the most important stories of the. You'll collaborate with your colleagues to tell the news that matter in your community and around the country, making decisions about what to air and when, and how to keep our audience informed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS
Required Qualifications
Experience: Television news - 2+ years Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experienceTechnical Skills: Knowledge of social media platforms and basic editing skills (Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro) Skills: Go-getter personality, and excellent interpersonal and collaboration skillsTravel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community Schedule: Ability to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of general office computer software, newsroom software, and basic non-linear editing systemsMay be required to lift up to five pounds
Working Conditions
Works primarily inside a climate-controlled environment throughout the year but might be assigned field duties on occasionSemi-noisy newsroom setting
