Your New Role...
The producer will work closely with the anchor by crafting segments, editorial direction, and logistics for the program. The position acts as the central liaison between the anchor and the show's production team.
Your Role Accountabilities...
The Producer will research and write for the anchor as well as give constant updates of the latest developments in the stories we cover on the programBackground research on interview subjects and segments will be a part of the daily responsibilitiesPitch stories and guests for segments as well as identify elements for segments that are in our daily show including video and graphicsThis person should be able to help craft compelling questions and produce segments for the broadcast with the show producersMust be able to write and produce packages with a high-production value, effectively use video and graphics; and coordinate logistics for interviewsWork closely with management to ensure that copy is urgent and direction of segments fit the show's mission.
Qualifications & Experience...
5+ years producing with producing, script writing and control room experiencePolitical news background and interest a plusExcellent writing skills and an ability to produce quality work quicklyMust have the ability to enterprise ideas and work well independently and with a teamMust be able to function efficiently in the high pressure of a breaking news environmentRequires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together

The Legal Bits...
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $86,377.00 - $160,415.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
