Procurement, Strategic Sourcing Analyst

　　Sourcing team main goal is to find market solutions and negotiate with third-parties for new or existing services/products, aligned with our clients' goals and strategies. Providing assistance from beginning to end guiding our customers through the procurement process.

　　The strategic sourcing team works in more complex sourcing and negotiations activities that require analysis, market research and strategy development with the intention to achieve savings for our clients.

　　As a Procurement, Strategic Sourcing Analyst , you will support the completion of category analysis, pricing negotiations and service optimization. Our goal is to attain the best price and service conditions for our organization.

　　Strategic Sourcing Projects and Negotiation

　　Partner with manager to outline the end-to-end strategic sourcing process using data and market analysis, strategy development, pricing negotiations, and contract reviewIndependently carry out straightforward negotiationsAppropriately utilize RFx documentation and navigate e-Procurement Platform by coordinating with business partnersboth internally and externally

　　Relationship Management

　　Develop and sustain meaningful relationships through building trust and rapport with internal Santander stakeholders utilizing strong customer service skillsHold meetings with clients across all stages of the project with the objective of keeping all stakeholders informed of the activities and advancements of the categoryRepresent Santander's position in front of suppliers in order to obtain the most convenient or desirable business proposals for Santander, and act as the communication link between Santander and suppliersRaise issues falling within the procurement cycle to management and assist in their resolution

　　Data and Market Analysis

　　Understand and execute category strategy as designed by manager and take part in redirection as necessaryUnderstand the minimum service requirements defined by the business lineOccasionally conduct market analysis across category responsibilities, and work with manager to identify gaps to increase leverage during negotiationPartner with manager to analyze and evaluate the vendor proposals to determine the best value option for SantanderCalculate and report sourcing initiative results and year over year savings

　　Identify and support the resolution of potential obstacles or complications when executing categoriesParticipate in the development and execution of internal projects to improve organizational performance

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's or Master's Degree Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent fieldWork Experience Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management

　　Skills

　　Ability to work well in a high volume, fast-paced environmentAbility to define problems, organize relevant information, establish facts, and draw and defend valid conclusionsAbility to work independently on matters within the positionPC skills, particularly MS Office SuiteStrong organization and project management skillsExperience with electronic sourcing platforms is highly valued
