  Job Description

  Position Overview

  The Procurement Manager, Onshore Turbines, will support the onshoredevelopment team in the execution of Invenergy\'s procurement,contracting, and execution strategy for its global and US portfolio ofonshore wind projects. This role includes collecting and analyzingmarket and pricing information, commercial negotiations, and review oftechnical information. The position will have the ability to participatein formulating commercial strategy, work in a multidisciplinary team,and participate in contract negotiations with external parties. Thisrole reports to the Director of Renewable Procurement

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Develop and implement procurement strategies that position Invenergyfor success across its onshore wind portfolioMaintain existing commercial relationships with key equipmentsuppliers and endeavor to evaluate, establish, and cultivate newrelationships with strategic suppliers.Lead commercial negotiations for equipment supply, installation andproject offtake contracts. Ensure that terms and conditions are inline with market expectations and align with all applicable projectagreements including construction agreements and project saleagreements.Collaborate with internal engineering, commercial, development,permitting, project management, legal, finance, and operations teamsto define the project requirements and ensure the procurement andcontracting approach aligns with those requirements.Establish and maintain internal pricing and market intelligencedatabases based on continuous market research, knowledge, andtrends. Build and implement tools and processes that facilitateefficient gathering, verification, analysis, and communication ofthis information.Prepare RFPs and manage the tendering process with internal andexternal stakeholders. Review RFP responses to ensure conformity andcompleteness of responses. Work with bidders to address anydeficiencies.Work with origination, development, and engineering teams to developcompetitive proposals to customers, including through thedevelopment of robust pricing proposalsProactively identify risks to the successful completion ofInvenergy\'s onshore wind projects and work closely with allstakeholders to mitigate risks.Proactively identify opportunities to create value for the projectby reducing cost, improving the schedule, optimizing design,increasing reliability, or minimizing riskWork with and manage external consultants as required to meet thegoals and objectives of the onshore wind procurement teamCoordinate with the project management team during project executionto identify lessons learned and ensure they are implemented intofuture procurement and contracting processesSupport technical due diligence, financing, and projectcertification, including managing contractor participation as neededCreate, maintain, update and track documents and data related torenewable energy contractsSurface and resolve issues in ongoing contract negotiations andreviewsManage both internal and external stakeholder expectations.Participate in community outreach and stakeholder events as needed.Attend conferences and participate in industry groups s required tostay abreast of the onshore wind market.Required Skills:

  BS or MS in an engineering, business, or legal discipline. Otherdegrees could be considered pending relevant work experience.5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, orbidding and contracting (with at least 1-2 years of experience inonshore wind, renewable energy construction, or a related field)Proven and influential verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, timemanagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to coordinate and manage multiple projects at one time.Ability to travel domestically and globally up to 25% of the time.Verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Skills:

  Experience with and technical understanding of large-scale renewableenergy projects is preferredA desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentDesire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people withmultiple interests and backgrounds.Benefits
