What you will do
The Technical Service Manager is accountable for the performance of a team technical. The Manager will utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.
He/She is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and overall status of Stryker equipment across all divisions.
He/She would improve quality by offering suggestions, act to meet customers' needs, implement Quality improvements and assure "gold standard" in all aspects of Stryker Services.
The Technical Service Manager will adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures, and accepts responsibility for the continuous improvement of the overall well-being of the relationship between customers and Stryker.
He/She must have sound business acumen and have experience of managing P&L and budgets.
Repair of Company Products
-To diagnose and fault find the repair of company products.
-To undertake the service and repair of company products to the required standards.
-To undertake the testing of company products and provide fully completed test and service reports.
-To perform upgrades on company devices as required.
-To Support Regulatory affairs function in field safety corrective action.
-To respond actively to field service, call on timely manner upon request.
-To maintain adequate stock of spare parts required to conduct repairs in efficient time manner.
-To Control spare parts inventory and perform monthly cycle counts as well as Bi-Annual physical count of the inventory and document it.
Training and Support
-To support and build up strong relationship with customers and team members in troubleshooting company products.
-To Assist with troubleshooting training for customers through training sessions & workshops
-To Support team members including troubleshooting, maintaining and overall status of Stryker TSD equipment
Quality System
-To ensure all relevant repair/service information is entered into the database.
-To ensure the calibration validity of any test equipment used to repair company products.
-To perform calibration of equipment as required.
-To ensure any customer complaints received by service department are handled within company quality system guidelines.
People Management
-To attract and retain quality employees with the best skills and qualifications to ensure that the Stryker standards and values are met and exceeded.
-To ensure contentious education and attain top repair skills to his/her direct report (TS Engineer).
-To carry out performance appraisals with all direct reports and to ensure that both individual and organizational development and training needs are met.
-To set clear objectives for all direct reports in line with departmental and organizational goals and to manage and lead the team efficiently to optimize outcomes consistent with the company's code of conduct.
Continued Professional Growth
-To develop relevant skills and knowledge by attending courses or make sure the needed knowledge is retained within the company.
-To be aware and support the development of the company quality system.
What you need
-Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or clinical field of study.
-Travel availability across NOLA (North of Latin America) region: around 50%.
-Desired SAP and Power BI knowledge.
-Intermediate English skills.
