About Probation Officer

  The Brown County Court of Common Pleas is seeking an individual to serve as a ProbationOfficer. The primary purpose of the Probation Officer is to monitor, supervise and/or provideinvestigatory work of felony offenders ordered to probation by the Court of Common Pleas; tobe present during criminal cases, transport prisoners, and assist with security as instructed by theJudge.This position is full time, Monday--Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with benefits. Salaryis based on experience, training, and education.Qualifications: Any combination of training, and work experience, which indicates possessionof the minimum requirements for the position, the Ohio Peace Officer's training, and the ability tocomplete the probation officer training course within a specified period.Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
