  We are seeking an Americas Privacy Compliance Assurance Analyst to join our multifaceted Legal & Compliance team in the United States! Help ensure privacy compliance is maintained in the North America & LATAM region of Aon. Aon is in the business of better decisions. What the day will look like The candidate should be able to work independently. The role sometimes requires performing with a need to balance speed, flexibility, and quality. Strong English and Spanish written and verbal skills and attention to detail are equally important. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with a process and operational mentality. The position will support in ensuring privacy compliance is maintained. Updating and providing training on privacy policies and controls library. Assist projects to stay coordinated with updates to existing laws as well as new laws. Support the privacy compliance assessments with appointed Data Protection Leads and Privacy Champions; Provide privacy training through workshops for Data Protection Leads and Privacy Champions. Support maintaining the Global Privacy Office's training and awareness calendar. Assist with running the function in the NA & LATAM jurisdiction. Support monitoring and reporting on the performance of the collaborative team on a regular basis. Plan and complete work within tight timelines. Assist with maintaining playbooks, standard operating procedures, document repositories, ensuring timely updates and version control. Be a hardworking teammate, who maintains a positive demeanor who demonstrates good judgment with regards to calling out and raising issues. Maintain an elevated level of discretion, confidentiality, and subtlety. Leverage and use data, analytics and metrics in the identification, assessment, evaluation, reporting and monitoring of risk. Skills and experience that will lead to success. 3 or more years of relevant privacy and compliance experience. Strong knowledge and expertise in the privacy laws of North America and LATAM region-(preferable), including CCPA - California Consumer Privacy Act, PIPEDA -Personal Information Protection and Electric Documents Act, LGPD - Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (Brazil Data Privacy law) Fluent English and Spanish language skills are essential. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and apply learned concepts, good operational mentality. Ability to support projects, especially projects that involve senior collaborators' participation. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional PDF skills. Experience working with internal audit would be good. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Good proven knowledge of the EU GDPR - European Union General Data Protection Regulation Experience handling incidents and data subject requests. Experience with running privacy compliance assessments and/or audits. Privacy certifications such as IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, CIPP- Certified Information Privacy Professional are a plus. Familiarity with privacy compliance technologies in the market The target salary range for this position is $73,000.00 to $82,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
