The Azure Core Quality team is focused on ensuring customer workloads are never aware or impacted by any change in Azure. This requires ensuring high quality releases at fast pace across Compute, Networking, Storage areas of Azure. We are also focused on improving customer experience around detection, mitigation, and avoidance of issues due to Azure infrastructure to ensure customers are minimally impacted during production service disruptions.

Responsibilities
You will lead teams to define significant business impact by shaping the vision and future direction. You will also provide strategic direction in identifying long-term opportunities and will coach teams to engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.
You will guide and coach teams as they work with Engineering to design technical solutions. You will also guide teams to identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.
You’ll coach teams to define success criteria and provide expert knowledge to help them understand return on investment. You’ll also drive them to collaborate and ensure alignment on product platform and release.
You will guide teams to deliver on feature roadmap, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and help teams lead governance programs.
You will oversee teams driving continuous improvements by using industry expertise to teach them to validate use cases and helping them partner with other departments to collect performance metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Qualifications:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,
OR product development
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.
8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
