  RemoteCollins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts that supports the Interiors Cabin Monuments and Integration Portfolio. The successful applicant works proactively and with urgency to contribute to team objectives and close open actions. The Contracts Specialist will be open to feedback with a growth-oriented mindset. This position requires extensive collaboration with proposal and program teams and business leadership.Come learn, contribute, and shape the next generation of technologically advanced airplanes at Interiors Systems.Primary Responsibilities:

  Advise and support internal team on proposal and contractual negotiationsLead contractual negotiations with customersComplete executive summaries and obtain approvals from subject matter experts and internal approversDevelop, evaluate, analyze, and interpret contracts to ensure alignment with internal processes, approved parameters, business and legal requirements, and contractual obligationsManage and communicate business and contractual risk to the business stakeholders throughout the entire contract life cycleMaintain historical contractual records and document all approvalsAdhere to and comply with standard work processesTravel up to 10% of the timeQualifications/Experience Needed:

  Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractPreferred Qualifications:

  Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
