Logistics Insurance and Claims is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to own our roadmap planning process, liaise with our internal and third-party (3P) tech partners, and lead the automation of cumbersome workflows. We measure our success through the improvement in the financial and operational insurance and claims metrics and the impact we deliver for community members' businesses.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will define, own, and drive program and technical workflows that reduce the manual work of core team members. You will leverage high-judgement in determining risks, trade-offs, opportunity cost, and benefits in prioritizing work for our 3P and internal tech partners. Finally, you will lead a team of 20+ through quarterly planning and hold all stakeholders accountable to a high throughput by developing flashes, weekly, monthly and quarterly business updates, and other mechanisms. As a technical leader, you will influence organization wide strategy and outcomes across Last and Middle Mile programs. You will work with senior and executive leadership to influence and execute solutions.The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading large projects and will have a well-rounded technical background. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity orcompeting priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You must have the ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
