Come join the Insights and Experimentation Team as Principal Business Data Analyst. The Insights and Experimentation team has a mission to unlock data-driven decisions that mitigate financial and fraud risk to Intuit and our customers. We are on a journey to bring increasing sophistication to our predictive capabilities, especially as the suite of money movement products expands to include payments, payroll, lending, banking and beyond North America to global availability. The successful candidate for this position will have a mandate to develop these forecasts from scratch and leave your stamp on the future of this rapidly growing business.
What you'll bring
10 years relevant experience in FinTech, banking, utilities, or subscription businessesBachelors degree in finance, statistics, economics, science or quantitative field- (Masters Preferred) Experience influencing at senior leadership levels, and driving cross-function teamsAdvanced proficiency in SQL or other coding language.Fluency in data analysis, including defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statisticsAbility to simplify stories with data, and be concise in the insightsExcellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinkingOutstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleaguesProactive and inquisitive learner... seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstancesStrong organization, time management and task prioritization skills
How you will lead
Build re-usable predictive statistical models with a high level of financial rigorUses extensive business domain knowledge to identify strategic opportunities to transform key business outcomesEmbrace the financial goals and challenges of the organization and the 3 year plan, including how Risk contributes to those goalsDiscovers, extracts and analyzes data in support of critical business objectives or cross-business initiativesFocuses on business problems of significant scope and complexity, and independently drives analytic teams to generate business insights or solve company-wide problemsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organizationKnowledge of financial standards including SOX and FP&A processes will be advantageous but not required
