The Human Resources (HR) team at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Human Resources Business Partner to provide consultation, subject matter expertise, and partnership to programs within Mission Readiness & Protective Systems Business unit (MRPS BU) Immersive Mission Solutions Operating Unit (IMS OU). This role will be based at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
This role will be the focal point to consult on and assist in the implementation of HR strategy, programs and policies across client groups, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward and recognition, succession planning, organization and staff development, leadership/bench strength development, staffing, EEO and other areas within the HR body of knowledge. The HR Business Partner will achieve results and address challenges, take ownership of projects, demonstrate self-directed learning, and provide and accept continuous feedback in a supportive work environment that offers continued opportunities for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership and relationship building skills, a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. This position requires leadership contact and the ideal candidate with possess a track record of strong decision-making skills with the ability to realize results in an environment of ambiguity. The incumbent must have cross-cultural awareness and communication skills to be able to effectively interact with a multi-dimensional program leadership team.

Salary Range 2: $95,000 - $142,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
