Salesforce is hiring for a Solutions Engineer within MuleSoft to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, which plays a pivotal role in driving MuleSoft's growth. As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will serve as a technical sales partner to our sales teams, aligning our solutions with our customers' visions. The MuleSoft Sales team will lean on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle to formulate the sales strategy. You will be a vital contributor to the success of both our customers and Account Executives by conducting technical discovery, qualification, reframing, challenging the status quo, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, facilitating technical workshops, and offering architectural recommendations.
In the role of a customer trusted advisor, you will bridge the gap between the technical solution and the desired business outcomes for the customer. You will take ownership of solution reliability and be the conduit for ensuring the customer's needs are met.

These are qualifications you'll need to be successful:
Excellent presentation and composure abilities in front of technical and non-technical key stakeholdersSkills to establish trust with clients, and the ability to influence key decision makersSolid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in alignment with the sales strategyDegree in IT / Business Informatics or equivalent relevant experience required.Hands-on Java development experience and ability to code and debug against Java APIs is preferredExperience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, Automation solutions, cloud infrastructure, etc. is preferredExperience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independentlyA passion for technology and an ability to translate that passion to impact business for our customersAbility to travel as neededLanguages: French and EnglishMinimum of 4 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce and/or MuleSoft CertificationsPrevious experience as a solution/sales engineer for a Software company in similar technologies (Integration, APIM, Automation, CRM, Analytics,...)
