Team Description:
The Salesforce Zero Data team is responsible for the service Zero Object Service - aka "ZOS" - providing consistent interface on top of NoSQL data store and enabling to internal Salesforce developers the tools they need to build web-scale applications (scalable access patterns, metadata, multitenancy, backup/restore, AuthNZ). The service underlies many current and future Commerce products.We are looking for highly collaborative, self-motivated, or self-organised and goal-driven engineers interested in working in challenging mix of compute and data-intensive services where day to day tasks varies from feature development, infrastructure tweaks in our CI/CD, and operations tasks such as monitoring, investigation and bug-fix.

Hands on the full software life cycle feature componentsSupport our commitment to continuous integration, unit tests, and functional automationOperational tasks such as software release and monitoringProvide attention to detail and a commitment to delivery of high-quality, stable deliverablesWork seamlessly as part of an Agile multi-site, multi-cultural, development and testing team
Required Skills:
Good understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one programming language (e.g.: Java, Kotlin)Experience working as a Back End software engineer in distributed systemsInterest working with build tools (e.g.: Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven)Good understanding of DevOps Concepts and best practices - e.g.: building, deploying, operating, automating and optimising production services in public cloud (e.g.: AWS, GCP, Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with frameworks such as Spring bootExperience with build tools: Docker, Kubernetes Helm, TerraformExperience building webscale microservices, including API design, data access patterns, testing, monitoring, and performance tuningExperience with NoSQL/NewSQL data stores (e.g.: DynamoDB, Cosmos, Spanner, Google Cloud Datastore, Cassandra, FoundationDB)Experience with Amazon Kinesis Data Streams and KCL
